Annellyse Munroe

VP of Operations

Annellyse is originally from Miami, FL where she started training in all styles of dance from the age of four. She received her BFA in Dance (cum laude) from the New World School of the Arts / University of Florida. Immediately after graduating, Annellyse moved to New York where she joined Ailey II (2014 -2016), the junior company of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Annellyse performed in front of former President Barrack Obama and other international delegates in the 2016 Hannover Messe opening ceremony in Germany and was featured on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine’s February 2015 issue. After being signed to Bloc Talent Agency NYC in 2016 she has participated in various engagements including the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards for Beyoncé, H&M x Kenzo New York Fashion Show SS17, where she was featured on H&M website and on Vogue. She also performed in New York Fashion Week for Desigual’s SS18 collection. She is thrilled to have worked with renowned choreographers including Anthony Burrell, Ryan Heffington, Jaquel Knight, and Tanisha Scott. Annellyse received her Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University in 2019 and has been the Student Life Coordinator at the ABT, JKO School for two years. Most recently Annellyse completed her second season with the New York Knicks City Dancer.

Hillary Kooistra

VP of Growth

Hillary Kooistra is the General Manager of contemporary dance company A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, where she began as Company Manager in 2015 after holding previous administrative positions with Lucinda Childs Dance, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Eva Dean Dance, and University Musical Society. She is a 2019 Dance/USA Institute for Leadership Training Mentee and a 2019-20 EmcArts Arts Leaders as Cultural Innovators Fellow. In addition to her work with A.I.M, Hillary has managed and consulted on career-building projects with dance and theatre artists and companies such as Ambika Raina, Caleb Teicher & Co, and Grind Arts Company. Trained as a dance and theatre performer, Hillary received her BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, where she received the Suzanne H. Butch Scholarship and graduated with the Earl V. Moore Award for Achievement in Dance. Hillary has performed works by Richard Alston, Amy Chavasse, Shannon Gillen, Andrea Miller, Peter Sparling, and Robin Wilson; and has served as rehearsal assistant to members of the Richard Alston Dance Company, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, and Gallim.

Emma Zordan

VP of Marketing

Emma is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a triple degree in Neuroscience, Psychology and Multidisciplinary Music Performance. She is currently living in New York City working for American Ballet Theater in Digital Marketing and Education with the JKO School and National Training Curriculum. Emma is ecstatic to be serving on the Exec Team for WAQ and could not be more grateful for this powerful team of women.
